M122 on a marauder

Putting. Together a kit for the marauder to run the m122 gt 500 blower.

With that said

Drivers side intake again! Good thing I didn't cut that 100mm hole out behind the passenger side headlight for the velocity stack! Now I'll be able to do it on the DS. :banana2:
 
Cobra engineering had the "kit" for $650+shipping.

One will need I suppose the normal eaton swap things??? Or is it a bit lesser

Going to need some cobra stuff as well

This is just the Midplate and a gt500 blower

I want to a do ported gt500 blower ported and plate package

I saw the Cobra engineering kit and wondered if it would work on these cars. I wonder if cowl cutting will be needed.
 
I highly doubt there will be any hood interference. The height of the eaton is about equal to the depth of the M122 plus plate. Like the trilogy. That has a plate. I'll let you know though.
 
The interference you are going to run into is the bump for the wiper motor, with the DS inlet.

That's always been my understanding too.

A little far away, but I'll volunteer my (alleged) forged motor and attached Marauder for testing...if I can keep the parts :burnout:
 
The factory wiper assembly will be your problem with the M122 Cobra inlet. If you can come up with an alternate wiper setup, this would be nice to have.

Me personally, I'm going the Whipple for an 03/04 cobra route. More benefit than a roots in most ways.

There is plenty of open space in the wiper housing to accommodate trimming and re shaping. How much is needed? One of us will find out shortly as always..

If the stock internals will handle a m122 THEN
