Should I exterminate them or let them be? Only 1 usually shows up, but tonight it was 3. They eat the leftover cat food, and act like the cats don't even exist. Bullies...

If they are out at night they are just interested in the cat food. Feed the cats indoors and they will move on. If it's daytime and they are active they could be rabid so be careful. Rabies can be in their saliva so if you suspect they could be rabid get your cats their rabies shots if you haven't already.

How about some pics of the little guys.:)

If you have ever seen the type of damage they can do when they get inside your attic or under your house you would put a hole in them first chance you get every time.:mad2:

Keep on feeding them and you'll have real problems. They are very smart and destructive.

Keep your cat(s) and cat food indooors.

We have them all around and they are not a problem because we do not feed them.
Other areas where they feed them lots of problems. As advised stop feeding them.
When you first wake up pee in a cup and pour it along your property line for a couple of weeks.

If rains it will wash away the scent so keep peeing.

Just move the cat's food inside and issue resolved:)

Please trust me on this, Racoons may appear cute but they are highly intelligent, very dangerous if cornered and incredibly destructive.

Remove all food sources, secure all eaves and crawl spaces as you would be amazed at how small a hole they can get thru.

I have been very successful at trapping them but have had very little luck at teaching any of them how to swim.;)

Skunk Scent

Buy a small bottle of hunter's skunk scent (humans can not smell it)..
sprinkle a few drop around and they won't come back...
Evidently they are dire enemies...
