Absolutely beautiful car and would love to have it but...

My father once told me " You'll never get back what you put into it son" and it is a very true statement. I had to learn that one myself when selling my boosted MM. I probably watched 15K outside of what I sold it for, roll down the street as the new owner happily drove it away.

I had to sell it to pay for my kids school as times were tough then and I couldn't find a decent job after returning from overseas from the Army. That's how the cookie crumbles I guess.

I know Spectragod doesn't NEED to sell it. No disrespect to him, so it sits waiting for the right buyer.

The search continues :)

Oddly, I have tallied up the $$$ involved, I could have bought a hellcat and had $$$ left over. But nothing is as much fun as embarrassing hellcats on the street, and zo6's, and "m" series cars, and and and.

But I look at it like this, I've already gotten my money back with the azzwhippings laid out, I'm only selling because I don't drive it as much as it needs driven. Less than 200 miles a year the last 3.

I will trade for guns, gold or cars.

Few people ever get back what they put in their cars, most of the time you either need to be lucky or have time on your hands. Fortunately with my W30s I had both, bought at the right time and have held onto them a long long time.

I agree with Spectra, I get returns on expenditures for my cars in many ways, though it has never been money. One day maybe, but no time soon. I have four kids, lots of things have been put on the back burner because of that and again I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

Today during lunch I was looking at the cost of college tuition for my twins next year UGH! I may just be spraying my car Blue to sell to you.

that Canadian got about 24k us for a 22k mile trilogy dtr . fyi. maybe the want to buy a boost guy should belly up and take notice . not going to get the good suff cheap . rite ?????

4. supercharged Vortec, 10 lbs @ 6K, 3500 stall, 4:10's - no time slips but MM's similarly equipped = Mid 12 's on street tires.

Well, I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Chevrolet SS Silver in color with 17K on the clock.

What an awesome car !!

Another MM just wasn't meant to be. I was really trying to buy Barry's Blue but, his family was just not willing to part with any of his cars. I was in constant contact with his daughter about them selling it but, to no avail.

This thread is one of my all-time favorites! The thread shows why our cars are special.

Spectragod has your car!

You have no idea how close I came to buying your car. I ran into one hickup and she said, "after the divorce, I doubt you can afford it!"

Lol [emoji23], I’ll trade it for krugerrand’s.....

I am not John Wick! I do not have a suitcase full of Krugerrands buried in my basement. If I did, I would not fear the divorce threat. I would simply exchange the Krugerrands with my wife. :D

Mine is Silver Birch, Boosted and has a zillion miles but everything on it is almost new except the body which is perfect for the age of the car!!:bows::burnout:
