Progress on build

Marty has everything installed except wiring up the JRide system for the JRi coilovers. Engine start and test, Stainless Works full exhaust, all gauges working (at idle), etc. are done.

Next is cleaning up the engine bay to look like it is headed to a car show, reinstall the stereo system (two batteries in trunk), install hood liner and led lights, etc.

Then, drive it around to put some miles on the engine, tune the engine/blower/transmission, corner weight and take to a road track to properly adjust JRi settings. Final tune adjustments.

Finally, detail and load on Reliable Carrier to come home (November 2019). The Marauder already has a home waiting for it - https://www.karparkauto.com/

Yes, pictures to follow. I am waiting until the car is done and detailed.

This place by me exploded in car condo sales. Some serious cars and coin rolling in and out.

Assuming there are no more surprises,............ Many, many things I had paid for had to be replaced (besides the entire engine, oil pan & pickup, , :
* entire custom fuel hat and return lines did not work
* wiring under the dash and engine bay was the work of complete incompetence - had to be completely redone at significant cost to me
* new gas tank mounting screws where hammer through my back set cabin! Holes had to be repaired and the tank mounted properly.
* custom mounts for fuel rails were not built properly - worthless. I had to buy new rails and standard mounts (custom was never needed).
* and I am too pissed off to name the rest

Marty and Jeff continue efforts to provide me a professionally re-modded Marauder. The work done by MO's Speed Shop is the only joy I have had from my car in years.

Too bad you ever got involved with KC. I couldn't believe that picture you showed me of the twisted AN oil cooler fitting . . . glad to hear you're on the right track.

Sorry to hear you wasted so much time and money but GLAD to hear you're in GREAT hands now!!:beer:

Marty and his GANG will get it RIGHT for ya!!:up:

Thank you, all.

One a positive note, throughout this last year, Marty shared pictures of his Chevy C10 with a Ford Coyote engine (abomination, hehehehe), his little red Corvette (beautiful interior work) and his dogs to comfort me. The dogs will melt your heart.

A few recent pictures from Marty:

The interior was removed (dash, seats, carpet) to install sound dampening material):

Engine (not tuned):

Be sure to share with Marty he needs a new mobile - horrible video and audio quality. That comment is going to cost me!

I phoned Marty (true; no bs) and he was in his car driving his family to dinner. When I shared the 'humor' of this post, he informed me I am buying his new mobile phone.

Moral:
Don't f*** with Marty!

One of the builds that keeps on giving... Lowndex, I still owe you lunch or dinner. Can't wait to settle up.
When is these beast headed back to NorCal?

That engine looks awesome! I also really like all of the carbon fiber you have under the hood! Did you do it yourself or have someone do it?
