**********SOLD***********

My dad bought this car new and put it in the garage. It has been sitting there all these years until he recently passed away. It has 3,500 miles and still looks new. Asking $16,500 OBO. Located in Centerville, Iowa. Thanks.

Somebody ought to jump on this one!

OBTW, the ONLY way to get a sunroof in any 2003 MM is to get it done aftermarket. Ask me how I know -- pls see my sig for our 2003 Blue MM.

Looks nice. It's only a couple of hours from me too. Wish I had the spare coin right now!

Good luck with the sale! Might try posting the VIN too, interested parties on this site are going to want that.

Excellent price. Good luck with sale, sorry to hear the circumstances by which it became available.

Amazing. I am telling my friends that always say they want MMs. I would pick it up if I had the available coin.

Zack, if you are reading, you know you want this!

Sorry to hear about your dad. Like the others I wish we had the extra cash. Why don't you keep it and join in on the Marauder experience. You'll have a blast with it.

+1 keep it. that is SUCH a rare car in that shape with barely an oil change on it. Amazing.

Hi, guys. Sorry for not getting back on here in a while. I guess I didn't have my account set up for e-mail notifications for PMs and post replies. Anyway, the Merc is still available and I will try to get back to each of you tomorrow (Monday). Thanks.

Several questions have been asked. I'll answer them all in one post:

Has the car been driven at all lately? Yes

When was the last time it was on the road? It's been test driven within the last two weeks. I put about 700 miles on it within the past year, 100 miles about a month ago.

Any leaks or issues from sitting so long? None.

Are the tires hard from sitting? Don't seem to be. You might direct that question to the contact below.

How is the paint? There is a minor scuff on the rear driver side bumper. Something in the garage must have bumped into it. Other than that the paint looks good. There is a small scratch and scuff on one of the wheels. See picture.

What options are on the car besides the standard? Trunk organizer, license plate bracket, trunk mounted CD changer. See pic of window sticker for other info.

Do you have the jacket and the window sticker and all the other paperwork? Yes. The jacket was worn more than the car was driven though. My dad must have wanted the jacket, so he bought the whole car.

Was there anything done to the motor or fuel for the long storage it has had? No. It was driven after long term storage and burned through the tank. I have put a couple of tanks of 93 octane in since it was brought out of storage a year ago.

Are you north or south of West Des Moines? Centerville is at Highway 2 & 5 in Southern Iowa.

An old friend of my dad owns a used car dealership located 1.8 miles east on Highway 2. The car is sitting there waiting for somebody to buy it.

Phone: 641-437-7349
Ask for Gary.

PS--My dad died with 9 cars in his garage. We are not interested in a trade. Thank you.
