    Aftermarket cam questions.

Why are cams a bad idea? I read so many people say don't waste the money, you gain nothing, buy a supercharger, ect. But most of these threads are almost 10 years old. Is the feeling still the same? Why? I haven't really seen before and after dyno info. I'm asking because I'm getting the valve...

Document - Crown Victoria LX Sport *UPDATED*

Thanks! It's Amazing the LSE sold for 6k less than the Marauder, and the only major differences were the bumpers, Rims and engine.

    Miami Beach Marauder

Welcome, Post pics of the Supercharger as well. If it is off a Lightning you won't be able to use it, but you never know he may have mis-identified it. If you want idea's for mods look at ADTR.net.

-TOTALED- 2003 Marauder - Anyone from here?

And that's why I love the Panther body. That was easily a 60-70mph rear impact. with no passenger cabin intrusion. As for saving the car, it's doable. Get a MGM or Crown Vic donor for the frame and rear trunk area. cut and weld. but the time and money wouldn't be worth it for 99% of the people...

Mercury Marauder Certificate of Limited Production Status - Available Now!!

If I Remember right total production for 03 was 7838 cars, so yeah it was a very late car. Total production of the 03 SB cars was 417 according the Wikipedia. as for the Certs, as far as I know the Ford Limited Production certs or a Martini report are the only real ways to get a full break...

    Rod Knock

3v motor would be a better option, the 3v heads have a 50cc combustion chamber, I believe, so it would be a better fit. I have seen used short blocks go for around $500+ But you still run into the Known vs unknown, and if your buying a junk yard short block you would be rolling the dice if you...

10spd auto in a panther chassis

I was thinking more of the Cost vs reward involved. The cost of Swapping the 10 speed, vs installing the gear vendor unit.

    Rod Knock

Here is my take on this: Crown Vic Block is Iron, Marauder Block is Aluminium. Crown Vic had 9:1 Compression with 42cc heads (PI), the DOHC heads for 2003 are 52cc's I think, so your compression will drop unless you find a NPI motor. The NPI engines had 9:1 compression with 52cc heads. That's...

10spd auto in a panther chassis

The only problem I have with the ten Speed auto is all the Problems that Chevy and Ford are having with it. My friend at my local Ford dealer Loves the new 10 speeds for their lack of reliability, he has so many coming in he's making quite a bit of money on repairs. I think it's a cool swap...

    64 Marauder

Kirk, I have never seen that mirror before. It looks like some odd mirror/spotlight, considering it has a hand grip? I would like to know more about it.
