the 03 and 04 ecus are interchangeable only issue is that the 04 ecu has the 2nd knock sensor input hardware can use the 03 ecu in an 04 but have to disable knock sensor 2 otherwise all the same

This is the first Ive ever heard of faulty tachs on a marauder. Interesting enough about 3 months I started my car and the tach took a second before it came alive. I chalked it up to a glitch in the matrix but perhaps my jewel is showing early signs.

if you have codes you need to fix that first before you can do any diagnostics the oss is used to shift, if its not working correctly your shifts will be screwed up throttle position is used for shift scheduling and tv pressure. If its not working correctly your trans shifting will be screwed up.
