300B to 300A Mods (Clock, Brake Release, Fuel Door)

Someone jacked up my whole dash ('04) to steal my aftermarket radio. The only dot matrix that I could find has a hole for the clock. I got a clock and harness pigtails, but don't know which wire is which. That schematic would be GREATLY appreciated, as my 04 manuals make no mention, and google...

    Need Tire HELP!!!!

Cooper Zeon RS3 is an option. I just had 4 installed today. I also wanted factory size for traction control and ABS reasons, as well as looks. I ordered them online, after tire van didn't have the rears. I wound up ordering from Summit (don't laugh). The rears were supposed to be on backorder...

    Ignition/Electrical Help Please

Thanks, everyone. Like I said, I was sure that it was a COP, but now I don't know. I was already considering a new alternator anyway, due to an upgraded stereo drawing some amps. (Had the stereo for years, so...) I figure, if I had to pull it anyway to get bench tested, I may as well just...

    Ignition/Electrical Help Please

Hi, guys & girls, I was wondering if there is anyone else who may have come across similar symptoms with their MMs, and could help me out. About two months ago, I cleaned the engine. It wasn't too dirty, but I'm neurotic like most MM owners. I came across a newer Simple Green, which stressed it...

    Seat ripping

I had the same rip, in the same location. I bought a new driver's side lower seat cover from Tasca last month. Picked up a new cushion as well. Now I just have to find someone to install it. At the time, there were only 3 covers left....so, subtract mine and now there's two. Good luck.

    Interior lights won't shut off......

I guess I showed my age on that one, lol.

    Interior lights won't shut off......

Courtesy light switches are usually located on the jamb in front of the door, hinge side. They are like plungers. Out equals on, in equals off.

    Interior lights won't shut off......

He said, see if it's on, meaning all the way to the right. If so, just nudge it to the left slightly. If that's not the problem. move on to the next possible culprit.

    Interior lights won't shut off......

The dial beneath the headlight switch. If you turn it all the way to the left, it dims the instrument lights. As you turn it to the right, it increases their brightness. If you turn it ALL the way to the right, it turns on all of the interior lights and they stay on.

    Holy $#!*!!!!!!!!!

I briefly went to one once. FWIW, if I remember correctly, they open the gates about an hour before the auction and you can check out the car.

    Holy $#!*!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, because these cars were taken under less than friendly terms, the lots that they are parked on are secured and not open to the public. I could swing past the lot and try to see if the MM is visible from the street and get a general idea of it's condition. But that's about the best...

    Holy $#!*!!!!!!!!!

So, on a whim, I cruised past the web site for our local car auction site. It's a site run for vehicles impounded by the police, or parked cars that were towed for owing a boat load of tickets and were never picked up. I was looking for a motorcycle or some other project/toy. ANYWAY, long story...
