Presently yes, I agree with you , but.... never say never. The majority of today's collectable cars were once daily drivers, many used in the snow, left out under trees and raced and beaten any time the opportunity showed itself. I think people are asking a lot, not sure they are selling for a lot.

I had a 93 manual and a 94 automatic SHO. I really liked both those cars except for the FWD and when anything broke it was expensive. I will say that Yamaha V6 was an unbelievable engine - never had an issue with the engine.
