That Sunday, 10/26, has open racing...3 runs for $40. The following Saturday, 11/1, also has open racing with several specialty brackets (Corvette challenge, modern muscle, modern hemi, etc...).

**Important update** I contacted E-town. They told me there are only Evo/STI/BRZ brackets that day. There is no open drag racing. You will need to reschedule.

Hey Paul, that Saturday is an STI vs Evo event. There's usually a big turn-out for those events....lots of kids. I know driving to and from NJ on a Sunday is a pain but Sunday 10/26 would probably be a better day for some test 'n tunes. I plan on going either day, I hope.

Weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow. They should have a good turn-out. If the other show I'm going to turns out to be a bust, I'll probably stop by.

Folks, For those interested, there's the 17th Annual All-Ford show at Freehold Ford (Rt 9 South, about a mile south of Freehold Mall, by Rt33) this Sunday, 9/14. The Shelby guys are putting it together. As it's open to all Ford powered vehicles, I'm sure they wouldn't mind a few MM's....maybe...

Steve, I "was" where you "are" a few months ago. I have kids, I already have a toy and the MM was costing me a fortune (new motor, new axels, wacky wiper fix, HVAC crapped-out, etc....). I sold my MM and with the $$ + a little, I bought a car that is 5 years newer, has more "bells and whistles"...

I sent a note to the guy who bought my car. He's pretty close to Carlisle. It would be cool if my car finally made this show since I was never gonna be able to go (ALWAYS falls on or a day or 2 from my wife's birthday). Good luck guys!

+1 I would avoid Dodge Neons. I know 2 people who had major issues with theirs and they took pretty good care of them. Both needed new trans well before 70k miles.
