    You guys shouldn't complain. I'm only getting around 13-14 MPG for combined city/freeway driving. It's killing me because gas here in CA is averaging $4.20 a gallon for premium.

    How do I remove the center console?

    I have to replace the bulb under the shift indicator. I looked at the center console but couldn't figure out how to disassemble the console so I can get to the bulb. Did a search but didn't find any postings. Anyone have a few simple instructions as to how to take the console apart?

    I just got one for my MM. Covercraft is the manufacturer. If you go to their web site you want to look up Ultraviolet Shield. There isn't a listing for the Marauder so you'll have to go with the part number for a Mercury Grand Marquis. The part number is #UV10880SV and retails for $47.99...

    I scratch out the street address on the registration and car insurance paperwork in all my cars for that very reason. I also recommend to all my family and friends to do the same.

    Florida's roads

    I flew into Florida last October to pickup my 2003 MM and drive home to California. I too was impressed with the beautiful roads on the drive back. We don't have anything like that in California. Here in CA it's a concrete jungle with heavy traffic, graffiti, crazy drivers etc.

    Rust spots on roof !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Add me to that list as well. I bought the car in October and haven't driven it much but just noticed a bunch of rust spots popping up all over the roof. Expecting to find more all over the car from what I've read here. Didn't plan on spending more money on the car but it has to be done.
