Anyone decent at wiring should be able to repair or replace the harness.
The corrosion inside the wiring is a common problem. Have installed several starters which required replacing a section of the harness for warranty to apply.
Do you have complete loss of power at this point? Power to...
Custom front bumper, but peeling paint on the fenders.
It does look cool, but definitely sticks out too far.
I have a spare bumper cover which needs to be fixed anyway, maybe I'll do some experimenting.
It happens unfortunately. I need to clean my carb, again, and replace brakes at this point. Thankfully the cab is solid and the bed only has minor holes where the saddle tanks had trapped detritus over the years.
My '71 suburban is a different story. Might possibly have half a "cab" mount...
Finally found an Ebay trans within my used trans price range. Hit buy it now, local napa has agreed to unload it with the forklift that I fix for them, saves $75 on shipping.

Yes, I got it cheap, but I have a lot of work to do to the rest of the car.
Enough about me, OP good luck with whatever you decide to do.

He knew what he had, but the car had been sitting at his mechanics shop for about a year not running. He had lost interest, and just wanted it gone. Right place, right time for once in my life.
No, I haven't been trying to sell it.
I bought it not knowing why it wasn't running. Had planned on...
Sounds a lot like an exhaust leak. Torque converter or flexplate issue should change under load, for example shifting into or out of gear, also may hear a rattle at the end of rotation when engine is shut off. Try having someone hold their hands over the exhaust tips (cold) while you listen...
