What is the ambient humidity? Too much moisture in the air can get trapped in the clear and cause hazing that will not buff out.

A very low temperature thermostat can cause more problems than it solves. The engine is designed and tuned to operate in a specific temperature range. In addition, the computer doesn't turn the fans on until 190°(iirc) unless programmed otherwise. There is a theory that a low temp thermostat...

90% sure dorman is strictly aftermarket. Some of their stuff is great, some either doesn't fit or fails in record time. I reccomend oem unless you absolutely cannot afford it. Or unavailable.
