I called a rep at Eibach and found out they they will do a special production run of the now discontinued Pro-Kit springs if we are able to consolidate 25 orders. The money has to come from a single source. The cost is $175/set plus whatever it costs for this individual to ship them out. How...

I'd want them to drop in a 427 Cammer, and 5 speed tremec TKO, 9" rear end, and a Wilwood big brake kit. Throw some snakes on the fenders and two matte black over-the-top stripes and- DONE! That would be one Baaaaad Marauder/Cobra lovechild.

The Rouge plant in Dearborn does tours. Its only final assemly though (F-150). Usually the don't let the public into the areas where all the good stuff is going on. I used to work in the industry and have toured many sub-suppliers. That's where most of the cool frabrication work is going on...

There are still some Eibachs available if you search online. I just ordered another set sine they are now discontinued (thanks for the heads up). I'm gonna want to stick with the Eibach/KYB setup for a long while. Seems like some parts might start to become difficult to find for MMs soon.

I was running Eibach Pro Kit springs with the OEM struts. Didn't feel they matched up very well. The Eibachs PKs were too much for the OEM shocks, resulting in an oversprung ride- harsh and bouncy. I decided to give a set of KYB Gas-A-Just shocks a try. They went in yesterday and I'm VERY happy...

Haha. Of course I'm using jack stands. Not my first install :) Thanks for all the feedback guys. I finished up around 7. Ended up having to take off the sway, end links, rotors and caliper, steering rack, and disconnected the upper control arm. Basically had to disassemble the entire front end...
