Mine was just old transmission fluid. I bought this car from a dealer but I'm the second owner. The carfax showed all the maintenance records and they were flawless. The only thing I didn't notice until later is there was no mention of a transmission flush. I added Dr. Tranny and the shudder...
I didn't say pushrod. LOL mind you... My mechanic is listening to a YouTube video and trying to figure out what's going on.

Damn...! That is strange. It doesn't even seem to coincide with engine speed either.
Is it coming from the front or the back of the car? Have you stood outside and had someone else start the car?

Been there done that. Shudder remained. Added a tube of Dr. Tranny... gone. Still need to do a tranny fluid change.

So... here's a question for you guys... I've seen a few posts referencing the Dorman Tranny Pan and none of them sound good. Is there something wrong with the Dorman Pan...?
I need to do a pan drop but I don't want to have to drop it every time I change the tranny fluid. So... I've been looking...
It finally pissed me off enough that I took it to my buddy's shop. He cut the arm with a cut off wheel, applied pressure with the puller, and hit the split he created with an air chisel. 5 minutes later... done!

My buddy came over with his PC impact and it finally came off. Now comes the task of pulling the arm. We've got the puller torqued down tight and I'm leaving it like that overnight. We'll see what happens. I'll check it again tomorrow evening.

I have both of those items. LOL the only thing I don't have is the long handle. I'm trying to decide what I can possibly use to remove that nut. I tried my ratchet and I don't have a breaker bar in 1/2 inch. I'm thinking about my half inch torque wrench because it's pretty long.

Hit it with an electric impact with no result. I don't have a long breaker bar but I have a long torque wrench. Maybe I'll give that a try. All else fails I'll take it to my buddy's shop and use his impact. I just don't want to bother him.

When I hook a guage up to mine with the AC off the pressure is very high but when I turn it on the pressures drop to around 25. This is only using a single guage setup you get with the freon cans. Is that normal?
