Todd, I would check the Traction and Treadwear rating to see if they are significantly changed... Treadwear may be lower... Load ratings may also be lower as well as speed rating climb.. It has been my personal experience that higher speed rated tires tend to wear faster than the equivalent...

Todd, Where was the blue MM local to us? Also check out the wipers on the 03 Town Car.. a much better blade design and arms...and it should pop right on.. Now if I can just sneak into the garage and do the quick switch when my wife isn't looking.... :D

Macon, I believe the brochure has the full size spare listed. Also the owners manual on the bottom of Page 144 says the spare may be used as a regular tire...that ain't a temporary spare! Also the Quick Reference Guide also states full sized spare..
