So I had a chance to drive my "usual" roads today and all I can say is: Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!
A fantastic upgrade over stock. The car feels much lighter and more nimble powering through the turns without seeming to compromise the normal ride at all. :bows:
I'm glad I got in on this...
I was talking to the local shop about cutting the front springs and though he has done it before he was very hesitant to recommend it. Biggest issue he said was that it wouldn't have the same amount area to rest on once the spring was cut and could make more noise under moderate to severe load...
Got them installed today but didn't really get a chance to exercise them too much as the weather got lousy in the PM.
Initial impressions are defintely very positive. The rear seems to hold on more and tracks better when accelerating in a turn. Tough to say how much better until I get it to...
Whew... glad I got mine when I did then (end of last week). Got here this week and installed it today. I'll be interested in seeing if I notice a difference in my HWY MPG.
If we can get one more maybe we can spread the cost of an additional two across the existing eight and at least get them? Anybody?!? :help:
Otherwise I'll be forced to pick up some Metcos in a couple of months. :bigcry:
The Megs delete tips arrived yesterday so I instantly took the opportunity to install them and also install the Granatelli that have been sitting since last weekend.
Overall impression of the tips: I like them!
They aren't as loud or deep as I could have hoped for but they are definitely...
The local dealer by me had about 6 in stock and didn't hesitate to hand me the keys and encourage me to "drive it for a while". I fully expected a hassle and an :argue: so I was very surprised.
BTW: The SRT8 is :pimp:
