I found that the pulley peaks were too sharp on a pulley. So I chucked the pulley up on my grinder motor and filed them down. You can see the shiny peaks from the belt before I flatened them.

In the T bird world we have wired in an aftermarket MAP sensor to the EGR wiring to log boost thru the EEC. I think this would require you to delete the the EGR function in the tune so would not be emissions compliant.
I reuse the stock header gasket with a thin coat of ultra copper on either side just in case.
Reman outboard engines I get like to package in expanding foam. Not sure how to accomplish the packaging, but I would do something like this. Wrap the blower in a bag, get a big enough box, get some...
How many RPMs you gonna spin it? I would just throw the 750 on it and see how it acts. Throw a vacuum gauge on it and see how much of a restriction it is when you get it running and at the max rpm you will take it.
Get the the tensioner as tight as you can and still get the belt on. A manual tensioner on the driver side would be perfect.
On Sherms whipple I remove the blower pulley to get the belt on. Cause I cant get the belt over the pulley lip.
If you are on facebook, there is a group and you can read all the horror stories. Lol. I have the super sniper for my V6 build so we'll see how it goes.
Joe, if you can, get the sniper with the remote ECM. Think its the terminator series. It seems the fords have RFI problems because the computer is near the dizzy.
But who knows could be careless installs.
My 95 t bird uses a higher? (don't recall if its higher or lower) ohm TCC solenoid. Not sure if its the same for the mark 8 trans I would assume so. But im guessing you got the correct on since you mentioned it. I also don't think that would matter using the holley for control.
I don't know...
Yes the pics are from the marauder. I think metco made/makes the driveshaft loop. We have an aftermarket shaft thats why there is no dampner. The dampner is stock like Bob said.
Looks like you are ok with what you have. I didnt remember that ours hung out so far also. Your housing should have a F3UP number to be the correct length.
