It's not the solenoid but the starter drive ( aka Bendix drive). It's an easy fix pull out the starter, take off the solenoid. split it half, replace the drive, front and rear bushings, reassemble and put it back in. If it were me I would clean the contacts inside the back of the solenoid while...

May I recommend the Common Man on South Main St. for your dinner meet. I have been to both places a number of times and the Common Man, I think is superior. The wine list and the escargot as well as the menu and atmosphere is by far better than Blazer in my opinion. Just a thought. ;)
