It seems that this will be a very interesting year for the 03 and 04 Marauders at Carlisle. Last year we had sufficient numbers to run out of space again. It didn't help that some other cars encroached on our space...I took mine out for a quick run today to make sure things are in good working...
This is so sad...never missed the Ford Nationals since it started decades ago. I used to have a rare Royal Blue Metalic '1993 Taurus SHO, and there was a slow diminish in SHO's year after year. Sadly sold the SHO more than ten years ago to get the 2003 DBP Marauder and started bringing it to...
Hi All...It was great to see everyone at what might have been the best CARLISLE FORD NATIONALS yet. Here's the official press release from the show directors headquarters:
"In the months, weeks, and days leading up to the 2022 Carlisle Ford Nationals presented by Meguiar’s, there was a thought...
Mine has a MORORCRAFT that's been in the car since 2009...I drive it rarely, maybe a few hundred miles a year. I keep a TENDER PLUS on it always, and it seems to be keeping the charge every time I crank it over.
WOW...That's my car, Charlie. Those pictures are from Friday because the yellow show picture tag is still in place under my freshly purchased MOTORCRAFT wiper blade.
Interesting story is that I had a separated wiper blade that was discovered Thursday night when I was leaving for Carlisle. A...
That was probably a B-17, or possibly a B-29 named FiFi. They were a small part of this huge WWII event held the same weekend as Carlisle at Reading Airport..

The drive home was safe and routine. PA Turnpike traffic was moving well with no problems. Guess it was around 3:00/3:30 when I pulled into the driveway. There were just a few rain drops along the way, but not even enough to try the new MOTORCRAFT wiper blades I got on Friday morning at Family...
That is correct...Red91LX is also known as Gene Kane. It was a real honor to win two awards this year, and I thank those who voted for my car on their ballots.
I didn't know that there were two DBP winners this year on the Carlisle Ballots. Maybe Charlie can tell us if that ever happened before...
That's very impressive...don't hate me 'cause it's only 125 miles for me to the Carlisle Showfield Gates...
There's a number of well-stocked local grocery stores that you can purchase fresh refills when you get to Carlisle, but I'd pack enough stuff to eat during your ride even if you prefer to...
What a saga... It's surprising how much the driveshaft affects the way a car drives. I have experienced similar issues many years ago on a '64 K Code Fairlane Sports Coupe, as well as a '65 Comet Cyclone. My latest vibration issue was solved on my '65 K Code Mustang by replacing the U joints...
According to their website..."This part is not compatible with 2003 Mercury Marauder Base Sedan 4-Door 4.6L 281Cu. In. V8 GAS DOHC Naturally Aspirated." Go figure :(
