Install assistance needed...

FiveO

Somewhere in the middle
First off let me say the pedals and door sills are amazingly crafted. Wonderful look and I can't wait to get them on my car.

Great work CJ...thanks!

Ok...

The dead pedal. How do you mount this thing? Theres nothing to attach it to?

The e-brake pedal no problem...just the self tapping screws.

The brake pedal no problem....drill some holes and I'm home free.

The gas pedal.... The aluminum pedal isn't bent in the same shape...its almost there...but have you people just bent it a bit more to make it fit?
Should just be the self tapping screws again.....that part is easy.

Thanks for any assistance.

Answered my own question.

Thanks everyone! ;)

I'll have to come up with some type of bracket for the dp.

The others should go in no problem.

Wow FiveO, I just returned home and found your thread. I was going to help you out, but you already answered it! Good luck with the install and hope you enjoy the pedals. By the way, you can purchase the dead pedal bracket from Kenny Brown. If you have any further questions, just Pm my husband Haggis.

So just call up KB and ask for the dead pedal bracket?

As in...do they have these made and or in stock? Or is it something they have to make?

FiveO, you will have to call KB and ask them. After you have the dead pedal in your car you will never understand how you drove without it all this time.

I have searched for info on how to attach the CJ plate to my KB deadpedal... the self tapping screws are starting to loosen. Should I use the bolts and nuts? They dont seem long enough to get through the pedal and the rubber pedal cover.....

someone please help poor tired old slowpoke!

'poke remove the rubber pad off of the dead pedal and use the nuts and bolts. There are two holes in the dead pedal bracket that will line up with the Polished pedal. You will need to have some larger washers to hold the nuts and bolts in place. Hope this helps.

will I need to drill holes too?? or are the holes large enough to accomodate the screws?

No need to drill any holes, there are already holes in the dead pedal bracket just remove the rubber pad.

yep - got it done!!

It was not to easy to pry off the rubber pad on the KB deal pedal but once I got if off it was pretty easy to get the thing looking as it should. Also used a couple of fender washers instead of the washers supplied with the pedal covers.

thanks again for your help!!
