"Marauders at Carlisle" Group Rate Hotel Reservations. Book Now for 6/2 - 6/5/22

Carlisle bound in 8 hours!

Change of plans for Charlie & me. The tire shop screwed up his rim (seems you are supposed to tighten the lug nuts, who knew?) this/Tuesday afternoon, so we'll be heading up in my DTR again. I didn't even prep my car, hehe. We're thinking about the Thursday dinner, but its the opposite way from our hotel. We'll see.

See you soon!

P.S. Anyone have a spare factory rim they'd sell? Bring it, he's got cash!

Sent you a pm. Safe travels.

Just an observation from many years of attending the Carlisle All Ford event.....
This might be the first year that I can ever remember where rain is NOT in the forecast!
Eric and I were just saying the same thing, Joe! A little rain possible here when we head out for Harrisburg in a few hours but then weather looks perfect right through the weekend. Safe travels to all who are heading to Carlisle. Look forward to seeing you there!

Sorry to say Ms. D and I have to cancel our plans for Carlilse this year. Hope everyone has a good time and post some pics if you can.

My count for Attendees for 2022 Carlisle:

Black -- 10
Silver -- 5
Red -- 6
Blue -- 2

Great turnout -- hope to see MORE for 2023!!!!!

Hi All...It was great to see everyone at what might have been the best CARLISLE FORD NATIONALS yet. Here's the official press release from the show directors headquarters:

"In the months, weeks, and days leading up to the 2022 Carlisle Ford Nationals presented by Meguiar’s, there was a thought that the interest and subsequent turnout for the event would result in an all-time, record-breaking affair. That notion became reality mid-morning on June 4 as enthusiast John Speziale became the 3,299th entrant into the show. His registration broke the all-time, any car show at Carlisle record that was set in 2003 by a non-Ford event. When it was all said and done with, John and 50,000+ other guests pushed the number to an even more impressive 3,454 show cars."

While it's true that the Marauder field is slowly dropping by the numbers, it is still a great opportunity for us to gather in a beautiful place that is hard to match anywhere. The weather this year could be ranked as the best ever. We really lucked out!
