ProRauder gets a hood!

WOW :awe:

From the picture the blower looks very close to the hood. Do you have enough clearance, for vibration, shifting under load, etc.?

So close, yet so far away. Hopefully, when you are ready to turn the key next week nothing will go wrong, especially something minor.

Looks good John! The whole package is DEFINATELY coming together!!

John was really close to being able to turn the key last night. We got the IAT, TPS, FPS, and MAF wires extended to their new locations and reading through the PCM but the dual LS1 MAF adder (magic box) wasn't cooperating. He'll get it squared away. I think it's wicked cool that John's going to have this running through the PCM. It's almost surreal seeing this old school stuff (6-71 blower and 18" wide rear tires tucked inside a back-halved rear end) being merged with modern technology.

Here's a pic of John and Jason loading up ProRauder's base tune:

How's this for a perspective from the passenger seat?

John, thanks again for the hospitality. This kind of stuff really tickles me and is well worth a five hour cruise up the interstate to be able to witness. Good luck on being able to fire this beast up in the next few weeks - University Ave will never be the same.

And this coming out of Waterloo, Ia. Who would have thought?
