Trying to get it right...
My first Marauder sighting in 15 years! Met John at a restaurant parking lot in north Salinas driving the cleanest Marauder I’ve seen since 2004. A black 2003 300B he just bought, clearly garaged, 43K miles, immaculate paint, bone stock. In better condition than my new 2003 300B pre-decontented was in 2004 when I bought it. Mine looks like hell in comparison mostly because of crap paint. His had some decontented features, manual fuel door, etc.
Anyway talked very briefly after he introduced himself, and later left my number with a waiter to pass onto John who lives in the Bay Area. I didn’t think to ask him what he paid for it, probably didn’t want to make myself ill!, but not sure he realizes he’s got a jewel there. I’ll bet there’s not a half dozen left anywhere in that kind of condition.
John, feel free to give me a call if you have any questions, I’ve picked up a few things in the 22 years I’ve owned mine.
