I had this Permachrome done to my car and it looks awesome, and only added 0.2lbs of mass per wheel!! I love seeing the rotating reflection on other cars as I roll up to stoplights :coolman:

Just my opinion...but im thinking that $2200 may be a little steep for those rims. Im not saying you WONT get it. Im just saying that there is a really really good chance that you will end up having to lower your price in order to get these sold and if time is a factor for you, you may want to consider this sooner than later. Again, this is just my :twocents:

Shut the hell up! For real? That's crazy! I like these rims even more now.

That is for real, and Mongoose verified this thru a buddy of his that works at a Ford Dealership Parts Dept.

Charlie was told there is a $650.00 core,.. yes.. core charge per rim.

That's why I have the Gorilla Locking Nuts on my MM.

Mike.

That's crazy, wow. Then if I was the O.P., I'd be asking a lot more than 2,200!

1 New rim now costs $1,400!!!

The fact that our factoroty rims ARE expensive doesn't justify them being expensive. I would love to see just how many of these sets were sold for $5200-$5600. i just cant see it for 18x8 aluminum rims with no tires. Dont get me wrong, these things look absolutely immaculate and i hope you can get them sold for what you are asking. Im just giving you a heads up that you should prepare for a lot of admiring compliments followed by "if i had the money" responses which probably wont be true because if they had the money they would probably just get their own rims refurbished, chromed, and probably widened for less than what is being asked. As a person who has done quite a bit of rim shopping i just dont want to see someone disappointed. The price you have is appropriate, but not right now. Maybe in a few years when our rims become more rare and harder to find. But, as they say...your buyer is out there, you just have to wait on them. As i said before...I really do wish you the best of luck on this sale and i will spread the word on my FB page where there a lot of Marauder, CV and GM owners that will not see this post.

My insurance company had no problem giving me $1,359 for my "damaged" Marauder rim. It was only a scuff mark!
