Well--We all meet at Rex's house today and then over to the BBQ for lunch--and then back over to Rex's for some pool fun----now that's it in a short version---the lengthy one to follow tomorrow--with pics----prolly cause we all are tired and hot---- I and others have pics too --so there!!(CBT=:neener::2thumbs:)

SO it did happen--but you will have to wait till later --

Want to say thanks to meeting some new friends to add to my list --PONYUP--Brad-- Marauder Santa--David---both from the Southern Marauder Family--

and again hanging with others -Slickster, John and IwantmyMMnow, Kyle, and of course my man Rex-- --

It was great and I must say --PONYUP can tell some compelling stories and keeps you wanting more--when it comes to sports--and without commercial interruption...we had fun with that comment --as we all do when we get together--

Once again--our cars continue to bring together the best friends anyone could ever happen to have-- till the next time we should meet--thanks for today's memories----pics tomorrow--Tom

Pics from yesterday's Pool Party.

The cruise-in turned out to be a bit of a bust. The info on the Upstate Cruise-in indicated that the event was scheduled for 1:00 to 5:00 pm, but when we got there, the Dickey's sign showed a 5:00 to 9:00 event time.

Anyway, we had lunch there (LOVE them big 'ol dill pickles), then went back to the house for pics, some pool time and general :bs:

Slickster, PonyUP and I went back to Dickey's around 5:30 and hung out for a while at the cruise-in, then Brad and I went back to the house for round two of the "social hour" plus a couple games of cribbage.

I thoroughly enjoyed hosting the event, and look forward to the next time.

Enjoyed meeting Marauder Santa, and IwantmyMMnow's young'ns. I don't know who entertained who, the dogs or the kids... :D

Tom it was great meeting you yesterday. Such a fabulous day, I had so much fun. Yeah, I tend to get a little winded when talking sports, especially if the captain is riding copilot. But I had an absolutel blast, it was great meeting everyone.

Rex, you were an excellent host my friend. The sausages were just down right awesome, then when we found out we both enjoyed cribbage, just had to play. I'm still floored that you have a Packers cribbage board. Thank you so much for the great day. Food was awesome, the cruise in was fun, the pool was great. after the two really stressful weeks I've had at work, this was a great way to wind down. :D

thanks again

Believe that's the one Rex is trying to move on--but he can confirm or not...........

Don't blame me for the "lawn ornament!" :D

That's E-Dubb's '79 Cutlass Salon Coupe (also a limited production vehicle, BTW, losta 4 dr sedans built, but very few 2 drs).

It was his first car, still has less than 90k on it. 304 V-8 auto. He's trying to sell it if anyone's interested in a project car.
