MM2004 , you are the downside to this forum...

I was trying to be nice and not say that. :o

Never been but would love to! And I have a passport.;)

As i said before i don't think the falls is a good destination for a MM event as it's quite a distance for most, kinda like florida would be a big haul for most. Keeping it more central would work better I think. Also there are not really a lot of car related things to do in the area, no wood brothers or speedways ect. Also anyone who has had a brush with the law wouldn't be able to cross the border.

Now Ms. D, as for a getaway with Mr. Man, this is a must visit. There are so many neat things to do in the honeymoon capital of the world. Peak season feels a bit like a tourist trap, sept., october it's paradise IMO. Off season hotel rates are downright cheap also. You would need a week to see\visit all the cool stuff! Off the top of my head...

Maid of the mist {awesome experience}, journey behind the falls {take an elevator down, tunnels to behind the falls, very cool}, whirlpool jetboat {havn't done that one yet}, white water walk {see the power of the river below the falls close-up} clifton hill {wax museum, guiness museum, lotsa wierd neat stuff all within a few blocks}, butterfly conservatory, bird kingdom {both very cool} marineland, whirlpool areo car {not me, i don't trust those cables!} casino's {yuk!} lots of vineyards with tours, old forts from the war of 1812 era and a 90 minute drive from lake erie to lake ontario along the river that is just spectacular. Wow, that's one heck of a sentence!

Give it a try sometime!

Yep, +1, been there many times over the years, but not anymore. I'm not getting a passport just to visit Canada. It somehow seems wrong.... :mad2:

I hear you, to non-travellers like us it's not worth the bother. Another reason a MM event wouldn't fly here is the dollars value, a few years ago Americans could plop down a hundred bucks and get back 145
Canadian dollars, now you would get back about 95.

Kernie, you are so right about the Canadian side. Fordfrk and I stayed at Marriott Fallsview on Canada side and saw alot of what you just posted (I agree about the whirlpool aero car--WOULDN'T do that!!). And I recommend 4 or 5 days. We only had 3 days, but it was fabulous. BTW, we traveled there in 2003 with our brand new Marauder:):)

No, I didn't know that. Did you know that Owls don't crap? No sh-it from Owls....

No?

Well then, how do they get rid of the little meece remains (or whatever else it is that owls eat)?

Please answer ASAP, I don't wanna be up all night pondering this....

Need help!

Well.

It's obvious you're no owl...

BTW, thanks for the quick response, I figured I was in for a long sleepless night.

Rex: I really think you need help:) Take 2 shots every 15 minutes till sleep in induced:lol:
