What did you do to your car today?

Had to run to the store at work and set off someones alarm when I started the car. Another one of my coworkers commented on the marauder and said I'm off the chain.

Enjoyed compliments and questions from the salesmen at the local Buick/GMC dealer that I applied to work at today........

Sunday: barely got the Galaxie started at a friend's house; drove it home, pulled the starter

Monday/Tuesday: got the starter rebuilt

Wednesday: installed the starter; kicks over like a new car, warm or cold

Big test will be on a hot, muggy, summer day, but the new starter and new battery did the trick, so far.

Next project, replace power steering return hose and rear quarter window weatherstripping.

Just got a new trunk emblem from Daniel. It is gorgeous. Absolutely beautiful workmanship. I highly recommend it. Here's a poor shot from my cell (sorry for the quality...):

Car comes back next week after a full repaint (same color - black, of course). Can't wait.

Pulled each wheel off, cleaned the inside rims with diluted Simple Green & some 0000 steel wool, and waxed 'em. WOW! Cleaned tips also with NevrDull. 4 hours. It's beer thirty!

Fixed the rear bumper sag, used a piece of aluminum angle stock bolted to the frame to do it.

I've done absolutely nothing to it in over a month, not even driven it. It's collecting lots of dust.

DTR + 4.10's + Eaton swap = Wreeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom

I started installing my air/fuel gauge lasts night, realized the how much of a disaster my alarm system wiring was and spent the next 10 hours tearing it out and fixing the butcher job. While I was at it, I fixed the *****ty moonroof wiring.

On a positive note, the car started when I was done, the keyless entry pad works again, and I installed the gauge and it's harness, now all I have to do is drop the exhaust and weld in the O2 bung.
