I looked at how dirty it is right now. Just been driving it a lot lately and I have not cared about keeping it clean. Just been caring about driving it.

Sent from The White House on taxpayers dimes.

DTR + 4.10's + Eaton swap = Wreeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom

Took her to the track. My first time to the track.
12.225 couldn't get the nitto's to hook. Next time I take the slicks. I was told it wasn't warm enough for the nitto's:(
It started in the mid 50's and got up to about 65.
Tire pressures from 16-18 no difference. Feathering off the line resulted in slower times. Just not experienced enough...yet ;)

I beat a ricer and this guy, he needs a new plate :D

Cleaned up the interior a little with some new mats that came in today.

Here's the OEM mats with 30,000 miles on them from the previous owner:

And the redline mats:

Now I have to clean the car!

Marauder Upkeep

Hi all,

I finally got the window tint on the back door windows and rear windshield replaced on Friday. WOW, does it look better now! The rear windshield tint has been bubbled up for years now and the right rear door window was peeling badly. Even my wife remarked on how much better it looked. (She's not really into cars but likes driving the Marauder because it's a big, safe car with plenty of pickup.) The tint guy said mine was probably the last tint stripping he would do this season because it took so long. I dropped it off at the tinting shop after getting the oil, oil filter, air filter, and windshield wipers changed and running it through the car wash. It still looks pretty good even with 211K miles on her. :)

I want cam this motor anybody have any insight

Come again?

If you are referring to cams as I think you are, then you start at the $1299.00 base level for cams only, then find out you should have bought the heavier springs for another $400 or so, plus retainers, keepers, ETC. Don't forget to buy adjustable gears, key ways, degree kit, and the Ford supplement kit for another $300 or so. By now you probably also need a complete timing set for $450 from Ford Racing. But don't let me discourage you.

Oh wait, there is also labor!

How did they get around not damaging the antenna/defroster strips?

New Tint

1stMerc,

The old tint was in really bad shape and had been on quite a few years. The guy called to tell me it would probably ruin the defrost and my radio has the common problem with no reception so I told him to go ahead. It looks so much better now! I did try the defrost this morning when I worked off but it no longer works. :(

What percent tint did you get installed?
