About 2 weeks ago I sold my Marauder on EBAY to a Gentleman that had 2. Shipping ended up being about double what he expected and it was much harder for me to sell then I thought so I agreed to let him out of the sale.

I just don’t have the time needed to deal with the car so it needs to go

The Good:

Eaton Swap done with supporting mods
Built Transmission
Built Torque Converter
4.10 Gears..low miles on diff rebuild
4 New Tires
New Front brakes
Intier in above average condition.
New U-Joints and balanced drive shaft
Paint looks good.
Zero Rust. I’m always amazed how clean the underside of this car is. No rust anywhere.


The Bad:

When I decided to sell the vehicle a couple months ago I stopped driving it. After letting is sit for about 2 weeks I went for a drive and notice a little engine noise that I hadn’t heard before. If I had to guess I’d say its valve-train related. It comes and goes. I’ve tried to capture it on the videos in the threads above but its difficult to hear. I’ve put over 1000 miles on the car since then. Current miles 80,400. I originally planed on pulling the motor and installing a forged short block but I just don’t have the time.

If the buyer wants I’ll include the following items that can be sold to offset the price:


Spare Alternator
Stock COT. No Rust in good condition
NA Cooling Head Mod
My org Transmission. No overdrive or 3rd gear.

As always I’ll take any addition pics or video that anybody would like.

Sale is still pending. Sorry to all the people that sent pm's. With the holidays and busy schedules of both parties it's been difficult to close the deal. I'll update this thread if anything changes.
 
I'm starting to get some pm's again. Sale is still pending to a member here. Hope to close the deal soon. I drive the car every 2 weeks and I know I'm going to miss it.
 
Okay...car is still for sale. I thought I had a member all lined up to purchase the car but that seems to have fallen apart.

I obviously get a lot of questions about the engine noise. Just so I'm clear I don't know what it is and to be honest I haven't heard it in a while. Meaning I try and drive the car every couple of weeks and everything sounds good.

Most people ask if they could drive it across country. I don't know? Is failure imminent? I don't think so. Has something changes recently and is that change causing a intermittent noise. YES.

Some questions, what did it make when it was tuned, do you own the car out right, If you don't mind me asking how much it cost the guy that back out of the ebay deal the to ship it to where he was located. I'm trying to get a general idea how much it could cost to ship to Philadelphia.

Do you own the car out right? Yes

If you don't mind me asking how much it cost the guy that back out of the ebay deal the to ship it to where he was located? It doesn't cost anything to cancel a sale on ebay if both parties agree. He told me it was about $1200 to ship it to Kansas City.
 
Okay...I had the original buyer contact me and ask for some more time. Anybody that has bought a car long distance knows it requires patience, trust and a lot of coordination. So I'm going to let this play out a little longer.
