Another gear question...

My buddy works at american muscle (all mustang parts) and can get me an incredible deal on 410's, carbon discs, seals, bearings etc. Long story short, as long if it's for an 8.8 inch rear all the parts will fit correct?

Yes, the 8.8s are the same. you just need to use your axles or CV 31 splines if you upgrade the carrier. Could he get me a discount on some wheels?

Oh, the advantages of friends that work at parts stores. I'll be doin the same upgrade in the near future. So jealous :rolleyes:

But yes, as both the other fellas stated, it'll all work together in the 8.8" rear end.

However, should you decide to put a 31 spline carrier in, you'll also need to upgrade to a 31 spline axles as well. I've heard that it's only really necessary if you're puttin out a lot of rwhp. Some choose to, some don't. Really seems to be more based on what you're plannin to do with it.
