Tuner settings

Just got my new x4. I was just messing around with it and was wondering what a good setting would be for these spark degrees. Just looking for a little more power before I get my 410s installed.

Need to know more about the current tune to say for sure. You could probably safely add +1 or 2 between the bottom two ranges 0-4000 RPM.

But don't do it if you know that knock sensors are disabled!

I wouldn't touch the top end, you will feel more improvement by adjusting the bottom end and it is safer.

Factory tune. All I have is a k&n intake.

How big of a number will it let you use??

J/K

Do yourself a favor. Don't touch it as stated. Unless you are looking for a reason to build a motor :D

Looks like a nice unit, waiting patiently on mine in the mail with Moe's tune in it

Moe's tune should be terrific. But if you guys run into troubles and it's hard for him to help you with remotely, let me know. With a programmer, we can do some datalogging for issues.

I am sorry but I am confused. Did the handheld come preloaded with a tune?

No. I come from the "Honda" scene some I'm unfamiliar with these tuners. But it seems like there's parameters that can be adjusted like ignition timing and fuel trim without having a custom tune.

Be really careful with what you do to your car with this set up.
