Can I use my SCT tuner as a code reader on other cars? Or is that a no no?

I've used mine on my Grand Marquis to clear Fuel system fault after changing filter.

It won't hurt anything to try. You might be limited to only Fords though.

this is true, tried to clear codes on my friends 350z and it wouldnt connect to his car...

Thanks guys. It was able to read and clear on a dodge ram but not on an infinity g35
