I love your car Joe!

It's at Gary Lang Auto Group in McHenry, IL. I have a reserved spot. Supposed to be a beautiful day!

Detailed the interior and door jambs, hinges, trunk, engine, etc. tonight. Quick wipe down with my favorite wash and wax detail spray in the morning and off I go....

Probably be the only Marauder there! I like that. :D

I remember when I used to show mine and the feeling I had actually getting trophies. It was the occasional ****face that would say to his friend "why is this here? It's newer and lame" making sure not to say it too loud, nor too quiet, basically making sure I'd here it. Problem was half the time I felt they were right as I'm truly a roadster/coupe/restomod guy at heart. I just simply can't afford it currently. Of course the older she gets it seems like everybody turns heads now, I average at least one thumbs thumbs up from much nicer cars every time out, and it seems EVERYONE knows what a Marauder is the older she gets. Basically, the respect level has come full circle.

Wish you all the luck sir! Bring that trophy home and proudly mount it Bud!

I've never won a trophy with my red Grand Marquis. :(

Won First Place in the 1990 to present modified class! Hundreds of cars, hundreds of people and lots of competition.

I'm floating on a cloud right now......

Wow, congrats. car looks great. I do think they have gained a lot of appreciation as they are new enough people know what they are but see them seldom so its a cool thing.

I hear that often and when I have my 442 and someone says that about someone else's car I remind them at least the person is a car person and is taking pride in their ownership. I heve my preferences but... I appreciate all (ok most) aspects of the car hobby and the variety of cars.
