Doing our annual trek to Englishtown raceway for drag racing Saturday 11/1/14.
I wanna improve my last time of 12.6 now that Im running widened tires

Hey Paul, that Saturday is an STI vs Evo event. There's usually a big turn-out for those events....lots of kids.
I know driving to and from NJ on a Sunday is a pain but Sunday 10/26 would probably be a better day for some test 'n tunes. I plan on going either day, I hope.

I know that's the jap car event but I can't do Sunday because I work Sunday nights. Also Sunday is a bigger mopar and muscle car event that will likely be more crowded. If I get two good runs in, I'll be happy.
 
**Important update**
I contacted E-town. They told me there are only Evo/STI/BRZ brackets that day. There is no open drag racing. You will need to reschedule.
 
That Sunday, 10/26, has open racing...3 runs for $40. The following Saturday, 11/1, also has open racing with several specialty brackets (Corvette challenge, modern muscle, modern hemi, etc...).

Next time you're doing your annual trek to Englishtown, please post more notice. W/ my job, when requesting a day off I have a better chance if I know 45+ days in advance! :mad: Not to mention that by looking at your info, you might possibly be the closest member on here to me and it'd be a pleasure to meet up. :)
 
Good news/bad news....

Bad news: weather for Saturday does not look good. Very cold, windy and damp with rain in the morning. If it's too windy, they will only allow 1/8-mile races.

Good news: if the Englishtown outing gets pushed back another week (11/8), there should be some good racing that day, specifically the Supercar Shootout. That's basically the old FAST series, factory-appearing musclecars....my favorite series!!

We'll see.

Last I checked, it's no rain in the forecast just chilly and windy. Have to wait and see when it gets later in the week.
 
Well if it's rescheduled to the 8th due to weather, I'll be there :D :D :D
