Don't you have a wholesale oil distributor in your area? Yes they are not much cheaper than WallMart at the minimum purchase level but at that kind of volume you should qualify for discounts and free delivery.
Because you want your engine to leak oil? :dunno: Fact is those additives soften the seals just like the various stop leak additives for engine, transmission, and power steering oils. That means that while they may stop or slow down a leak in the short term in some cases they also accelerate the wear of the seals in the system that were not leaking. So stop/slow down one leak for awhile and then have a whole bunch more pop up down the road.
I'll stick with regular non-high mileage style motor oils because Ford like most automakers recommends using no additives in the oils used in the car even if they are added with the oil before you buy it.

I got rid of my bulk tanks a few years ago and I got rid of my wholeseller. They could not come close to Walmart prices. Also I don't have to sit on 600+ gallons of oil with all that money tied up. The Walmart is across the street from my shop so I use the "just in time" inventory process just like all the automakers switched over to in the 90's.
Oil changes only account for about 7% of my total gross, we specialize in everything from eurpean repair, engines, transmissions etc. Also tint, car wash and full detail.

73 is the best number.
For the sake of complete accuracy, the owner's manual does not use the word "requires". It says that 5W-20 is recommended.

Yep, its like Ground Hog day.
Sounds like your wholesaler was sticking it to you. The one we used when I was still in the business was pretty close to the same price as Sam's Club on the min purchase and would beat them if you bought a larger amount. Bulk was significantly cheaper. As far as sitting on the money the wholesaler offered 2-10 net 30 on their invoicing so either a little lower net price or sell it before you pay for it.
But if it works for you that's great.
I bet you are their biggest customer overall with that kind of daily purchasing. Again whatever works best for you. The obviously have to consider your motor oil purchasing patterns when making their orders because around here many of the WalMarts do no stock enough of a some brands in a specific wt to do one oil change unless you've got a car that takes only 3qts.

Why change anything at 100K miles??
My engine had 256K miles on it when the bad gas (?) incident took place......block only needed honing and crank polishing......virtually no wear and no leaks with Mobil I 5W30 all it's life!!:bows::beer:
