Anyone in Columbus willing to help me?

Okay this might sound like a really odd request but I'm looking for someone in Columbus who could help me with something that would require a bit of your time and mileage. I would of course happily cover any expenses and throw in some extra for your time.

Basically my car has spent its life around the Columbus area before it was exported to Germany and in its Carfax report there is mentioning of two dealerships that were involved with this car. Ricart Ford in Groveport as the first supplying dealer and Steve Austin's Auto Group in Bellefontaine who constantly did the service work. I've contacted both dealers about this request but none of them had any interest to help me whatsoever so I thought perhaps I need someone local who could do this for me. All I'm looking for is a set of license plates / frames from those dealerships to go with my memorabilia collection for the car and perhaps also to display them the car so I'm wondering if anybody who's local to those places could pop into there and grab a set for me?

Any help would be highly appreciated and rewarded, thank you!
 
60 miles is quite a distance for just that but maybe if you've got something else going on that makes it worth taking the trip then let me know.

I'm 4260 miles away so it's just down the road for you Marty. ;)
 
And if someone gets it, send it to me. When I stop over in Ramstein in a few weeks I'll chuck it out the window for you to catch. lol
 
Can't believe a parts guy at the dealership won't SELL you a promotional plate/frame with the dealership advertising.
Seems odd.

Well he would sell it to me but only to a US address, he wouldn't ship abroad.

That would be great if you could accept and forward it for me! In that case I'll get back to the sales guy and tell him I have a US address available now so let's see how much he charges me for the frames plus postage.
