Vehicle shipping cost?

So, I have someone interested in buying my car. He lives in Ohio, I am in Maryland. Any recommendations on who he could use to ship the car from here to there? He got a $900 quote, but that just seems a little high for only going a few states away.

a friend of mine had one shipped from Cali to fla, and it was more reasonable price wise....but haven't heard back from him with the info

Any suggestions?

I like that idea....but with my luck, something would happen on the ride..lol
I don't trust other drivers....I drive to Pa at least once a month...and man, people cannot drive...you can be as careful as you want, but the "other person" can screw that all up in a second

Depends....This is all new to me with the shipping , sale, etc...
He was going to fly out, but now he said with the cost of the flight, rental car, hotel, and taking off work..it would cost more than he was ready to spend....and I'm not giving the car away....he would rather wire me the money direct, then have the car picked up the day after.

I love the car, but I never drive it, and sitting isn't good for it.

I have sent him videos and pics of everything possible, so he has a good feel for what he's getting.

I just wonder about the wire transfer of the money..never done that before. I know some have, would be nice to hear how it worked. I have an account I never use, so not worried about that, and could take the money out as soon as it was put in. Just new to me...bothers me a little..
