As info, the $475 stainless crossovers are for eaton swapped supercharged cars. They don't fit stock motors.Jerry may decide to make stock crossovers and I'm sure will be similar or higher priced

4. Jerry did a run 4 years ago, they are all gone, costs go up, next batch will be closer to $600, I wonder how I would know that?
5. You haven't bought anything from me, so I don't know your manner in paying bills.
6. The "honest commentary on prices", price is dictated by what the market will bare, but these comments are why the Marauders for sale section is moderated, too many people telling others how their cars were only worth what the commentator thought.

And... he did some for the Trilogy cars as well, a whole new set of jigs would need to be made up to do them for a N/A car, since these were done as a break even kind of thing, I don't think there will be an advantage to produce them, because as we know, everyone wants them, till they get produced, then most of the buyers all fade away. :burnout:

One day I could search the board using specific 'terms'. The next day I can't. A strange board with even some strange 'participants'. 'Warped Cronyism' comes to mind. Don't allow your reading comprehension to trip you up.:shake:

Actually the search issue is the fact that the search function on this forum sucks, always has. Everyone complains about it. This is why no one uses it. If you want to search, use google. In google type the thing you want to search along with www.mercurymarauder.net and google will search the forum and display the desired results.
 
I don't need a COT right away but like many here, thinking a spare would be nice. Like others, I politely and correctly pointed out the price gouging of late, only to be wholly lambasted - up to, and including 'go elsewhere'. Interesting. Manipulating my search privileges - equally interesting.

Informed sources within the community indicated this device not worth more than $275 with the powder coating - I readily agreed after viewing previous search results from this very board. What I stated is merely what many others are thinking. Hoping the OP reaches a satisfactory conclusion with his sale.

OK, so just a little voice of reason, though I accept your research as valid and personally feel anything more than $150 is too much for a COT, it doesn't mean the going price isn't $375 or even $500. One can ask whatever they want and if they don't get the price many people just sit on it. There are days I wouldn't pay $10 for a marauder part (console pegs anyone?), there are days I'd pay $500 for a part I need.

I️ too bought it as a spare, but without the car anymore it makes no sense to keep it. The “device” is worth what someone (not everyone) will pay. I’m not trying to hit a home run with it... just trying to break even.
As others have posted...a lot of parts on the Marauder are unique to the car, and like it or not that has a direct effect on pricing. Since the car was not that popular aftermarket replacement parts are not always reproduced.

If you would like to have a pricing discussion about parts please start your own thread and stop whining in mine.

As I see it a COT in mint condition should only increase in value as I don’t see why any aftermarket company would reproduce it. Not enough market to sell them to.
