decipha - why not just bring it to the dealer and let them do it for free ?

Was no joke I honestly had no clue that they were doing that type of hackery. I assumed they installed newer better designed LCM not bypass it. I've been getting the letter in the mail now for a couple years and have just ignored it since I hadn't had time to schedule it. Now that I know I will not be getting it done.

On a side note, I wired up a 30 amp relay from the alternator to the headlights (blue/white wire -runs to both side so I tapped in on the passenger side) and used the fog lamp wire (orange) as the trigger. When I turn my fog lamps on my headlights get noticeably brighter. Using a DMM I seen a 2 volt drop at the headlight connector with only the stock wiring. It made so much of a difference that I took the LEDs off and put halogens back in her.

Novice question, is the Marauder drivable w/o an LCM installed? I know the headlites and blinkers won't work, but what about brake lites? Does the computer put the car in limp mode or anything? I'm to old and crippled to remove mine and the kid at the dealer said he could remove it. Then I can send it to FBM, but I'd need to drive the car home till FBM sends the LCM back. Dealer is about 3 miles from my house.

Only lights you will have without the LCM is the brake lights which are on a separate circuit.

No headlights, no foglights, no turn signal, no instrument lights and no interior lights.

Car will run normally.

Mr. Man, just lmk when you're ready and I'll come take it out. It's only 2 screws and a few connectors. Easy enough to do in the driveway.

The LCM is just above and in front the diagnostic OBDII connector (just to the right of the steering column). On the front of the LCM are two grey connectors, depress the release latches and pull the connectors out of the LCM. Remove the two 7mm screws that hold the LCM to the bracket. Release the latch securing the LCM to the bracket. Push the LCM towards the firewall as you rotate the front of the LCM towards the roof.Once the LCM clears the bracket, pull it down and you can release the last electrical connector.

To reinstall, do the same steps in reverse.

Will take you up on that in the near future. Can meet you at Frank's and buy you lunch. Drive home for me would only be one easy left turn, so as long as the brake lites work I'd be willing to drive over for lunch. I'll PM you when I'm ready to see when we can meet up.
