OK, what did I miss? Didn't log on for 20 hours and all hell breaks loose, 564 new posts!! Zack banned!! plenty of threads locked!! There has to be a thread deleted because I still haven't found the cause of this.

Anyone want to fill me in? :flamer::D

I don't mean this with any disrespect and I am a Mod on several smaller none car sites but I don't understand how the Mods here complain how unbbielably hard it is to Mod this board when very very large sites like stangnet,modularfords and svt all doit mostly seamlessly.If someone gets to out of hand they give them a vacation and end it.But out of hand seems to be somehow different here then other places....

On the contrary, many of the things AJ posts are quite intellectually stimulating. They are just not stimulating to everyone, because they don't see (and don't wish to see) beyond the surface of the post to the deep side of Aren's intended meaning.

'Afros' and 'Sandwiches' and the other locked threads this month have no socially redeeming value whatsoever. But I don't waste my time either by reading them, or complaining about them.

Like I've said before, no one is forced to read threads here, and bitching that you did read a thread that wasted your time is childish. 'Punishing' that person for 'wasting' your time by 'forcing' you to read the thread - doubly so.

We all claim to be 'adults' here. Time we stepped up and acted like it.

I just wish that people didn't use this site as their personal blog and for dispensing their mental diarrhea.

They can go Twitter themselves.

But since one person is allowed to, then that means we all should be allowed to. And not just lock Joe's thread cause he is old.
 
My original post ( see post #1) was a "call out" to those that give the Admin's and Mods greif by pm'ing them when they don't like a post or a thread.
I could really care less if someone wants to post a post about whatever... I don't need to read it, but if I do and I don't like it or don't agree with it, I'll tell the poster, not cry to the Admin.
That's just cowardice.
