Was that when slowing down with a trailer attached?
I know how to get it to read like that too.

Sorry I don't pull trailers with my MM like you do.Was that when slowing down with a trailer attached?

Yes I know how to calibrate it correctly, I've had it over a year. I'm not saying I get that to a TANK, straight flat roads with enough throttle to maintain speed and keep the converter locked I get 28-31mpg while driving. You know you have to calibrate the scangauge to get the right MPG right?

I daily drive my MM (5k miles every 3 months give or take) so MPG is important to me.
As far as all highway long trip? The best I have gotten was about 26.9 to 16 gallons at 75-78mph. I have two Zack tunes, one is all around fun street, they other is a hybrid secret. At 60mph in O/D with converter locked I run 1725 rpms with cruise control on.that's pretty shocking, what do you avg. on a highway run?
It can if you can keep your foot out of the throttle due to enjoying the car a lot more with some added power and most importantly the trans shifts 10x million times better.does a tune help with the gas mil?
Hey Blazin nice MPG....SC at that.
My wifes company ETC used to have an office out in Waukisha WI....I remember buying one of there company cars from there and talk about rust in the undercarrige. A PITA when it was time for brakes, shocks, bearings....etc.
Wow really? I get 9999mpg when fuel loop is closed and foot it off the gas lol.Just 31 mpg? I got 85 MPG on my scan gage when I took my foot off the gas in the FSVT!!!
I started getting better gas mileage when the increased the ethanol amount in gas. You might want to try a different gas station or go with brand name only. I only put Exxon or Shell in my car, anything else I get no where near the mileage I do from Exxon or Shell.
I don't know. On a trip to and from New Jersey, we attained an average of 20.2mpg in our 1999 SVT Lightning.I just drove from Waukesha, WI to Champagne, Il and back. I got 18.1 mpg. Not bad for a S/C car!
