Reminds me of this. They were selling these new at the Dodge dealer I worked at as a porter. I thought they were kind of gay even back then. At least they had a V8.

There was a Worlock version as well but I don't recall the specs. The 'lil Red Express was Dodges fastest production vehicle in 1978

Would I drive it? No. I want a truck I can use and abuse, i.e., I have put 70K miles on my used 04 Sierra in the last 3.5 years -- and no it is not my daily driver. It gets more car washer in the winter (I hate salt) then the rest of the year combined. It is a truck and is meant to be used!

I think that the fastest Ford in 1978 was the T-bird with a 400M in it.
The Mustang was the hapless 'Mustang II' with the anemic 130 HP 302 V8.

How can a 302 V8 be de-tuned down to only 130 hp for 1978!? It seems like it would almost be harder to do that, than to go the other way and make it crank out 400hp! Jeesh, what the government has done to our cars!:bigcry:
