Hi Joe, spoke to you yesterday on the phone about my 04 MM, I do have a set of 16" P71 rims. I want to use a set Blizzak for travel up north this winter months. Also would like to increase MPG, any info. on any chips that can increase MPG with no loss of HP whichI can install myself without me destroying the car.
As it turns out one of the coil connectors had reversed leads, so #2 cylinder was out of sync, soon as I corrected that, problem resolved. I did check the connectors as you had suggested, but none were out of spec.

It still bothers me that #4 spark plug was way loose, and if it keeps loosening up I may have to see if the Ford extended warranty will cover a new head. I had installed NGK TR 55s due to a forum recommendation for we who run Reinhart tunes, but Alex at Granatelli said those are for LS1s and not mod 4.6s. I cleaned up the old Motorcraft units and reinstalled them since they had only 38K on them. The NGKS were clean when I pulled them after being in since last weekend. I am reasonably sure the Granatelli coils were fine well.

I plan to check all 16 plugs on our Magnum, just to be certain none of them are loose as well, never had a spark plug on a car we bought new losoen up as did the one in the Marauder. Of course these two cars are the only ones we've owned running aluminum heads.

    Best,
    Michael
It may be a coil, I installled a set of Granitelli cops and connectors in January of last year, with no problems til now. I retained my OEM cops, but to switch out one
I would need another Granitelli unit as to install them you need to change connector polarity.
