Undercarriage is very good especially for the age. It did spend a year in San Diego with my daughter when she was in her second year of college. Other than that it's been on Long Island most if not all of its life.

Look for Bear Notch Road. Has some really beautiful views. It does close for the winter although I took my '88 Bronco across in January one year - someone left the gate open in Bartlett. Used to live in Bethlehem from '87 to '94.

I have over 50k miles on KYB shocks - 1 coil cut in the front and rear lowered so the frame rails are level front to back. shocks are still very good!

body mount bolts? I've replaced 6 so far - it did help but was more of a "pop" than rattle.

Just changed my fuel pump last week because of the same problem. finally wouldn't start at all. Had 168K miles. Pump was cooked. Runs fine now.
