Bet it does work. On my daughter's 4X4 Explorer it gets stuck to the weatherstrip often if not used enough. Have somebody operate the switch while you use a hand on each side of the glass to help break it loose.

Agreed. To extend the warranty on this 55" for two years it was $179. They tried their high pressure sales tactics, but I kept saying NO until it sank in. :D

Due to the most recent press release, almost certain 2011 being the last year of production of the CVPI (99.99% chance), I have ended my search for a brand new 2009 or 2010 model. I am going to wait now and land a 2011 model when possible. I want a part of history, the last year of production.
