02 Pontiac GTP SC

We had a customer bring us a 3.8 02 GTP, as you know I do mostly Ford and use SCT, well this man had us install new heads, Nitrous and a inner cooler, now the inner cooler is not real impressive, in the first place it did not even have a reservoir, so I added one, along with this I added Apple green 42 pound injectors, the car has a larger TB and a Cardone Maf, he bought a ECM from ZZ Perf, and we added larger exhaust, and the ECM is supposed to calibrated for the Maf, I had the TB powder coated and the S/C as well and had the VC painted all gloss black the install is perfect it really looks good, I sucked the stock file out from ZZ and made the change for 42,s but I could not get the AF straight it is a steady climb lean at WOT, so I am fairly frustrated, so today I checked FP, and sure enough it was falling off, so today I put a Walbro in the car. I did one pull today and I was right, the pump was the problem, the AF is now 11.6 so I will dial it from here.

Thank you Walt, Steve really put a lot of time in this. Just plain awful I had to put a Cora reservoir on a GM but it will make it run faster. LOL

It's blown, running nitrous, had all the other parts added, and only manages 260 HP? Or did I read something wrong? You tend to post some killer machines on here, I don't get this one.

It's ok you missed the post where, I said this was only the second pull with a new fuel pump. The nitrous has never been used, what I want is to get A/F correct and get the car close to 300RWHP with out N20 then add that.

Nice build Dennis...the guy really likes his S/C GP!

I look at it and think:
"That is a ton of time and money to spend on a 260 HP FWD Pontiac when you could go buy a clean, used G8 GXP and be way ahead."

Ah, work in progress, my fault.

Dennis, Usually when you post on projects you only show engine compartments.... Could you show AT LEAST one exterior pic? I would like to see these cars...

Full body shot please!

Or even get a Grand Prix with the V-8 the last 2 years (I think) the Grand Prix was made that started with 303 HP if I remember correctly.
As FWD goes. I like the GP's, Bonneville, and Monty Carlo SS. Thats about it. But only the V-8 models GM made the last few years.

Most of the time I show the full car and normally the dyno run, so I will do that for you later today.

You are a better mechanic than I thought if you can get a front wheel drive car to put out 300HP from the back tires. Will you be offering this kit? :D j/k
I'm with tj, if you could slip a pic of the car in that would be cool.
