:) Greetings and salutations from Leaf country. 1st time owner of a black beast. Bought last week. All stock. Trunk never opened. Owner didn’t know he had a 6cd changer in there. Backseats never sat in. Original BFGs still on! Fluids as if changed yesterday. Never driven from Sept to May in past. Mirror black finish-crazy. Has every option! I have no intention to mod it except to tune it professionally. Any recommendations up here? I’m driving to Pittsburgh in the a.m. Will hibernate on Monday until May hopefully seeing the Masters in Carlisle. Any tips on preparation for the winter? It will be garaged. Covers?
I’ve learned a lot from this great site. One of 460 blacks made in Canada! Already ordered the BC. So haaaaapy. Peace.

Congrats on the new master in your life!

"Trunk never opened, owner didn’t know he had a 6cd changer in there", lol, awesome!

That should read 'one of 460 sold in Canada' and not all were black, :D.

For covers check out cover anything or empire covers. If you store the car with shell 91 it has 0 ethanol so no need to add fuel stabilizer, unhook the battery or install a battery tender. For a tune and an sct xcal4 tuner contact Marty at Moe's speed shop.

If / when you ever end up in the Nation's Capital let me know, I'll take you for a spin in a boosted Marauder tuned by Marty.

Back from Pittsburgh

Hi all

Thanks for the welcome and input. Had a great time in Penguin country. They lost:banana: Went 375 m on a tank of 93 works out to 20 mpg. Didn’t exceed 2000 rpm. Are these numbers average? No issues whatsoever. Confirmed my initial impressions. :). Getting ready to garage it. I’m up north does it need gas line antifreeze? Thanks in advance.

It needs fuel stabilizer, Startron, Seafoam ..put it in, run the car around town 10 min. To mix it in tank and fueline

Yes, all 250 trilogy long sold. Only options are eaton swap or vortech kit thru ADTR.net. Check with local members in Ontario for shops. Martyo at MOs speed shop in vendor can be of help too

Congrats on the buy from a fellow Canadian Marauder owner! I highly recommend getting a tune from Marty. Car feels like a completely different animal!

I just cleaned mine thoroughly, disconnected battery, pumped the tires, and tossed on the car cover before putting her away. I usually just leave about 1/4 to half tank of gas in my Cobra and Marauder for the winter. In the Spring I'll run a couple of fresh tanks through before getting on it in.

Wow.... Just Wow.

To just keep it stock: Marty Tune, Nitto Motivo's, watts link and rear upper and lower control arms, stainless steel brake lines and brake fluid replacement, optional CAI replacement, Monroe Severe duty shocks (or coil overs), addco sway bars.
