13.8" Rear Brake Conversion for $600

I'm looking to upgrade the rear brakes on my 04 and have an idea. I read about how some 05-up Mustang owners are swapping their rear brakes to 13.8" 13-4 GT/Shelby rear brakes.

I came across this axle flange chart on the Wilwood site. I measured my flange and it's the same as the 05-up Mustang. I have the rear from an 07 Town Car but early Panther axles may have the same flange.

I will soon get my hands on a Mustang to measure the axle housing flange to axle face to see if the offset is the same as the current setup.

Caliper/Bracket: The 13-4 Mustang caliper/pad/mounting bracket are needed.

E-brake cables: I believe 13-4 Mustang E-brake rear (L+R) cables may be integrated with the Panther front E-brake cable.

Hoses: I contacted Classic Tube and am waiting on the quote.

Price: Without hoses, the price of reman calipers, rotors, pads, brackets, rear E-brake cables comes to $535.

Visual/Fitment: You'll need 18" wheels to clear this setup. Pictured are 19" wheels. Quite a difference!

Outstanding job finding this possibility. I'll be watching to see if it pans out. This should pair nicely with the Corvette front set up.
 
So it's a bigger rotor, but is that 13 up caliper still a single piston?

I understand that 11-12 mustangs with brembo brakes, the REAR calipers are the same as standard non brembo cars...

What about the 13 and newer? Twin piston or no?
 
Going by the photo, it looks to be a single piston caliper like what we have stock. Still, the larger rotor should cool better under heavy use.
 
I read you said 18's will be needed, so will the stock MM 18's work? Please say yes and mean it. If so, I'm in

Putting a price on this before actually doing it is not wise.
Doing vs speculation are completely different!

My '15 Performance pack is single piston rears.
