anyone know if the front and rear 'shells' can have their orientation, to each other, changed?? By loosening the 3 #10 bolts.
1968 Alternator orientation??

yes you can re-clock.
take nut holding pulley off, remove pulley , remove the bolts lift front case as to not affect brushes, clock how you want and reverse order to put back together.
